Our Story

We’re Heather (left) & Courtney (right)- a mother-daughter duo and fellow home bakers who are still learning as we go! Mostly we just love making—and eating—sourdough bread!

We created Kindled Sourdough Co. because we believe making bread is about more than getting the perfect loaf. There is so much beauty in the process. We want the tools you use to be just as beautiful as your bread

In such a fast-paced world, sourdough gives us a reason to step away from the rush, slow down, and make something with our own two hands. And when that bread is shared with a neighbor, given to a friend, or placed on the table for someone you love, a simple loaf becomes an act of kindness. That’s the heart behind our tagline- Made Slowly. Made Kindly.
